ABOUT LAURA OSNES:

Laura Osnes is a Tony Award nominated actress best known for her work in Bonnie and Clyde as Bonnie Parker and the title role in the Rodgers & Hammerstein’s revival of Cinderella on Broadway, both of which garnered her nominations. After winning the nationally televised Broadway talent competition Grease: You’re the One that I Want!, Osnes went on to star as Sandy in Grease on Broadway, opposite Max Crumm. She then made her way to Broadway again as Nellie Forbush in the Lincoln Center Theater revival of South Pacific, followed by playing Hope Harcourt in the Broadway revival of Anything Goes. For Anything Goes Osnes received nominations for the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical as well as the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical. She was also nominated for an Astaire Award for excellence in dance. After performing in productions at La Jolla Playhouse and Asolo Repertory Theatre, Osnes once again played Bonnie, this time in the Broadway debut of Bonnie and Clyde, opposite Jeremy Jordan. In addition to her Tony Award nomination for her performance in title role of Cinderella on Broadway, Osnes won a Drama Desk award. After performing in the World Premiere of Bandstand at Paper Mill Playhouse, Osnes starred in the musical on Broadway, opposite Corey Cott.

Following her Broadway debut, Osnes starred in the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts' Broadway: Three Generations, a three-act evening featuring condensed versions of Girl Crazy, Bye Bye Birdie, and Side Show. She also played Elizabeth (Lizzy) Bennet for the concert version of the Broadway-aimed musical Pride & Prejudice. Osnes performed at the Kennedy Center again at the Kennedy Center Honors in a tribute to Barbara Cook, led the Encores! stage concert production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Pipe Dream, and headlined a concert performance of The Sound of Music at Carnegie Hall as Maria. Off-Broadway Osnes starred as Polly Peachum in the Atlantic Theatre Company's revival of The Threepenny Opera. For this role, Osnes received a nomination for the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical. Regionally, Osnes starred as Julie Jordan in the Lyric Opera of Chicago's production of Carousel, alongside Steven Pasquale.
