Danielle Padula, Executive Director of the Broadway Theatre League of Utica prepares to sit down with Stephen Gabriel, Partner at Work Light Productions on Thursday, March 4th at 12 noon on BACKSTAGE, Broadway Utica’s podcast. In 2005, Stephen Gabriel formed Work Light Productions to create and produce live entertainment. WLP has since grown into an industry leading producing, investment, general management and technical supervision company with offices in Summit, NJ and Charleston, SC. WLP regularly employs over 200 actors, musicians, managers and technical crews on productions throughout North America and Asia.

Broadway: Ain’t Too Proud (12 Tony nominations, including Best Musical), Jagged Little Pill (opens fall of 2019), Waitress, and Hamilton. Current and upcoming touring productions: The Cher ShowAin’t Too ProudSomething Rotten!, Rent 20th Anniversary Tour, Bandstand, White Christmas, and the Olivier Award winning production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Developing Clue, a new comedy based on the Paramount movie, and the new musical An Officer and a Gentleman. Produced Julie Andrews, The Gift of Music at The Hollywood Bowl and London’s O2 Arena. Other recent touring productions include Motown, Mamma Mia!, R+H Cinderella, the Tony Award-winners American Idiot, In the Heights, and Avenue Q. WLP is led by founding partner and President Stephen Gabriel and Vice President Nancy Gabriel.
